#1 – Asparagus

The first cure we were told about is asparagus.  Multiple people told us about a study done back in the 70’s that showed good results.  Apparently you can use fresh or canned asparagus and make a specific paste.  Cook organic or pesticide free asparagus. Use a blender or food processor to puree it to a smooth liquid.  Take 2 tablespoons two times a day.  Store it in the refrigerator and make only what you can use in a couple of days.

This one we tried.  I had checked it out on line and could not find a reason not to do it.  The problem was that when we started this my husband was undergoing radiation for his bone cancer. He experienced a lot of nausea and vomiting.  He began to associate the asparagus remedy with his nausea.  So we stopped after a couple of weeks.

Does this help or not – I don’t know.  Certainly the food itself is healthy and nutritious so low risk.  It is also one of the foods recommended as part of an alkaline diet, which is widely touted as an effective response in fighting cancer.  Lots of information out there if you are interested.
